no choices

I'm trying to find something worth while on tv. It is almost impossible. The choices are very very nil. The cartoons shown are not what I grew up on. All the silly tv ads, selling all kinds of fairly useless things.

A few old classic movies, but nothing outstanding.

Thank goodness for tivo.. I've recorded a bunch of shows from the week, thank goodness I have enough to get past the mid afternoon.

I remember Saturday morning tv use to be entertaining.

I remember waking up early just to watch the great shows. I know times change.. and not always for good, depending on who you ask.

I really don't watch cartoons anymore, unless I'm w/ my grandchildren.

I have to work every other Saturday. Very rarely am I even home to watch tv.. I normally would have been out running errands. But, I did all that yesterday. So, now I'm regreting that. In the future I'll save errands for Saturday morning unless I have some very very good movies saved.

So, I'm off to find errands to do just to get away from the mind numbing of the tv.

Thanks for stopping by, don't forget to say hi.

I do too. I remember sitting in front of our monster black and white in my pajamas eating a bowl of Captain Crunch and watching Atom Ant and Underdog and The Bugs Bunny Show. Those were the days!

That's why I download so many TV shows and watch them when I get around to it.

It means I can watch Dexter on Saturday morning . . . yay.
