I had my old DL, my new copy of my birth certificate, my proof of residence, cash, and headed for the DMV!
I entered.. no one in line... 2 different people stated they could help me... I walked over, sat down, and less than 5 minutes later, had my DL!
She accepted my old DL, my new copy of the bc, and my proof of residence, all she asked for was my ss card.
Passed the vision test, and paid my $20.00 Took my pic. which of course looked horrible, but I have it. I'm legal again!
Whew, Since I had to have it Tuesday, and I work all day Mon & Tues, it was today or else.
I have never had this easy a time in my life. I thank Him, and called some friends and celebrated.
I then ran some errands, and had good luck. I was looking for an item at a store, they stated they only had 1 of 2 of what I wanted, but when i arrived, they had both! Then, the other store had the other item I needed.( Now Santa has almost a full bag)
I finished my running around, and came home, and did some house cleaning. Rearranged some furniture, and relaxed.
I love the fact that I have errands run. Now, some inhouse work to do after work tomorrow. Sunday, I have some baking to do, then enjoy watching the clock tick ever so slow, while waiting for my plane to depart.
