Never forget your coat when visiting a warmer climate than where you live!

leaving San Diego it was around 65...Arriving in KC, it was 4. What is wrong w/ this picture? There was snow, ice and wind! I had left my coat at home... and only had a light blouse & a long sleeve shirt to brave the cold. My girlfriend picked me up thankfully, and we made it to my home nice and warm. I had about 2 minutes max in the cold till I was inside my home. My cat was very ticked off she was having to be without me for over a week, the fish were glad to be fed,and all in all no big deals. I tried to crash early.. but no dice.. just didn't happen. So, suffereing from a bit of jet lag, I'm typing this waiting for some pills to take effect so I can crash. No work tomorrow, so can catch up on laundry etc. Paid the bills already, and will get the mail tomorrow.

My cat has finally quit complaining, and has settled down. She received her treat when I arrived, and then pestered me while I was trying to crash.

Spoke to a very dear friend for a bit.. and then gave up on sleep. Reading a bit, tryhing to unwind. Daughter & I had some really special times, it was so great. The grandchildren was wonderful. My son-in-law was very kind and I couldn't ask for anything else.. (well I could..but... the #'s for the lotto... etc aren't likely)

I'm starting to finally get a bit tired, so happy Friday everyone... take care..

Thanks for stopping bye, don't forget to say HI!

You don't need the lotto with all that.

Just remember, some of us haven't gotten to be in the 65 degree weather, and were stuck in the cold while you were gone! A Snowbear like yourself should be fine in the cold weather anyway, what with all the fur..

Mason... when one has allergies as bad as mine... the cold is the only aid.. If I could live in an area w/ out pollen, then I'd love the warmth... but I have allergies all year except when its cold...lol
