Groan... I hate figuring taxes
Published on January 25, 2007 By TheSnowbear In Life Journals
Tomorrow I'm doing my taxes.. I hate it.. The government blows more money than I make in 10yr period on some silly study... Like... Why do kids fall off tricycles. Honestly. The government did a study for 3.4 million. Guess what they found out... they either ran into something, someone, or they just fell off. For 1.2 million I could have saved them 2.2 million. But they didn't ask me. I know some of my tax $ helps. But it the beauracracy that helps the wrong get rich, that burns me. Oh well, such is life in the U.S.

Very true. But when you figure there are 300m of us, they figure they can waste! Blecchhh!

We paid them 3.4 mil and they come back with an answer of, "they just fell off?" Why should we pay them when they didn't even do a study of kids balance issues, etc. Anyway, besides all that, why the heck does the US Government need to know why kids fall off tricycles unless there's something wrong with the product that needs a lawsuit against it? Wouldn't that call for a proper analysis of kids just falling off?

You realize the government doesn't always answer to anyone. Someone's brother-in-law- got a sweet grant... it is that simple. Politics...
