home made is best

I'm craving home made cookies. The kind I made a few weeks ago. They have everything but the kitchen sink in them. They have coconut, oatmeal, chocolate chips, crushed corn flakes, etc. They are great.

I am craving snacks, and hate the price of store bought cookies. I want something that I know the ingredients are basic without a lot of fillers. These cookies freeze great, so I can pull a few out a day, and by snack time, mid morning, middle afternoon, they will be perfect.

I've made some home made muffins for breakfast, pumpkin & cranberries. I'm just tired of spending big bucks for simple things. Simple things that I can stir up in just a few minutes.

Now, I'm thinking I should fry some chicken breasts strips up. I'm getting better at what I'm eating, as being avoiding fast food. But, I do enjoy eating good food. Maybe Ii shouldn't fry them, bake them instead. They would be perfect for lunch in a salad.

OK all this talk of food is making me hungry.. I think I should fix a nice glass of ice water and do some stretches... take my mind off food. That would involve not watching tv. which is showing nothing but fast food!

Aw those cravings, get you everytime! Sometimes giving in to the craving just a little is not such a bad thing! As long as you don't over do it and you get right on the 'horse you were riding'!

Baking or grilling is better, definitely! Or sometimes I stir fry without oils or maybe a spritz of fat free olive oil spray when I stir fry, works for me!

Home made is always best! Even the healthy stuff.
